Day +23 Pup asked Robin to Push Trolley!

Today, Wolfpup ordered Robin to push the trolley with his luggage from 7th floor to 1st floor – of course there’s a lift.

Together with Sr, we walked Wolfpup and his wife down to 1st floor.

Wolfpup is going home today (was readmitted 3 days back).

Wolfpup started to bully Robin again – which is a great sign. This is the real Wolfpup!
Sorry Wolfpup, you are very kind actually, I just miss the “bullying time”.

Wait till you are fully recover, you will get back two fold from Robin!

Day +19 Continue Praying for Wolfpup

Wolfpup is home.
I bet he is now more cheerful staying at home with his family members, and this definitely is a recovery boost.

We are all happy for Wolfpup.
We do not plan to pay any visit or even calling him, as we understand he needs rest at this point of time. The only way to know his updates is through his blog entries.
So Wolfpup, please write something in your blog, we love reading it!

Dear Wolfpup, although we are not really in touch with you (physically), but we do think about you and pray for your recovery.
Friendship never ends.

Day -13

This series of write-up is specially dedicated for our dear Wolverin.
Wolverin will start his journey going through Stem Cell Transplant (SCT).

We have made a pact that we will celebrate together, big, when he is back to home.
Deal? Deal!!

Less than 12 hours to go.
Tomorrow will be the first big step, moving forward to a better future.

When he is hospitalized, Wolverin will be staying in isolation room, only Mrs Wolverin will be allowed to be with Wolverin.
Strictly no visitors besides SCT team.

Wolverin, starting tomorrow will be the time for you to relax, and have a quiet period without all the noisy gang around you.

However, too bad – although we are not allowed to visit you personally, we are still able to be connected with you through cyber world.
Regret to get your mobile modem and laptop now? Make sure your webcam is working well!

Dear our beloved Wolverin,
Just remember one thing; the gang is always with you!

My fun activities for the weekend.

I was given a task to do something fun for myself and need to report back to my boss on Monday. I don't know if these thing I'm is fun but I think I had a wonderful weekend.

Friday, 24 August: Classical concert

My brother who is a priest asked me to drive a church car to bring him and other American priest to a concert hall that way outside of town. It was a classical music concert. I was influenced by this brother to this type of music when we here staying together. I listen to many kind of music and classical is one in that list.

I sneak out off my officer earlier before the peak hour and went on the public bus to meet up my brother and the American priest at the Church downtown. It was good that I took detour to avoid traffic and the priests found it very enjoy sightseeing. We arrived at the concert hall one and a half hour before the concert start and also earlier than they ever been to which they used to come by taxi. So we had time for a snack and talking. The American priest was asking how old am I and then he said that he is almost about three times older than mine – he is 91 years old. He arrived in Thailand as a missionary before I’m born. It’s amazing that how he still bright – walking around and come to concert. He says that he is very blessing that God keeps him healthy.

I was buying a pack of tickets that cheap price and we can come back for more times. The American insists to treat me and my brother that concert and we lost him.

The classical concert was very nice. There were big set of complete instruments and two special guests for the guitar solo – they are twin. I music was fantastic and relaxing – well, I felt asleep only once during the concert.. not too bad right?

Saturday, 25 August: Don Bosco School - Printing Reunion Night

It was the third re-union party for Don Bosco Printing at a medium class hotel. There were about 20 years classes with 200 hundred of graduated students came back to get together – raising funds for present students since the school if for poor and orphan students – like me. It was good to meet up with friends that have seen for a long long while some of them I have seen since we were graduated – only 18 years ago. Some of my friends still stick on printing business – some became owner of their own business – some still working for company. They were happy to hear that I work for charity organization. All of friend very impressed by quality of work that I am doing. Well, I told them that I am happy with my work and that is count. What I was enjoy about that night? They told me that I look much better rather than skinny young boy they know at the school.

Sunday, 26 August: My dad and a digital camera

It is a long story why I start to talk to my dad again after how long I could not remember that we hadn’t talk to each other. I will keep it for family matter. What I want to share is my dad called me on Saturday told that he wanted to get a low budget digital camera. He was saying that he interested to have one digital camera but he has no idea how it works. He asks me to be his adviser. So I accompany him to a shopping mall not far from home. We spent two hours walking around and have a look at low budget cameras and finally he like the brand that I am using – Sony. He would like to pay in cash and I offer that I can pay it by my credit card which I can get redeem point back. In my mind quietly thought this might be good gift to my dad since I had never bought anything for him since I left home. So when he about to pay me and I say that this is a gift for him, he hesitate and this was too much. He accepts it as I insist to buy it for him which made him very happy.

I show him how to use it. My dad says that it will take him a while to able to use it. He asks me to come to teach him later weekend. I took a bus two hours back to my place and half an hour after I arrived back my dad call and check if I’m arrive home safely. He told me that he worries and happy to hear that I’m safe. He said that he loves me like the way he loves me when I was a young kid, and I said that I love him, too. You know why this is so special.. because I have never heard he says that since I remember..

Great Monday

Who said Monday is always blue?

Robin is having a great Monday today & would like to share the joy.

Adding our ‘Ummmppphh’ to a dear friend!

In local community, whenever you go for supper at teh terik (typical drink for supper) stall, after ordering, most of the people will add a remark to the waiter: Boss, teh nak yang ada ummmppphh (boss, tea comes with ummmppphh).

“Ummmppphh” is a common dialect used here, referring to something better, superior, with energy and booster.

Today Robin would like ask everyone to give your ummmppphh to our dear Dr Razak.

He is a dear friend of us, and has been going through challenge with courage.

Dr Razak is living with CML since Y2006 and he will soon undergo bone marrow transplant in Sept 2007.

Dr Razak is sharing his story through his blog at http://drrazak.blogspot.com/
Also, you can read about it at https://www.themaxfoundation.org

Do give your ummmppphh!

Bloody Wednesday

Hi Robin and Superman,

Just got back from another bloodletting activity today. We had around 54 donors mostly students who signed up but only 40 qualified. I got scared because 1 student fainted afterwards. I think she stood up too soon. Thanked God she was okay after 15 min. rest.

I'll post the pictures later in the ftp site try to take a look.

Hey, hope you had a fruitful day.

Superman looks holy in the picture! hahaha

Darna- probably thinking who is Darna. She is the local counterpart of Wonderwoman.....

“Friends” really warm your heart

Getting a call from a buddy just a minute ago and we were talking non stop.
It is so good when you know there are friends around you for anything, anytime, anywhere!

Thank you for the call, big brother!

My brother ordiation - He is a priest now.

Thank you God for wonderfull 'Freinds'

I did not realize how much friends support me and my life. I often look back to the past to what I have been through. I was on the top of mountains or deep in the bottom of the ocean. I feel amazed of how friends can support to my life. There are always friends around me to encourage me and to keep me going. And I never feel alone in this world.

Thank you – for being such wonderful friends.

Give yourself a try!

Robin’s buddies, Superman & Darna have joined in the Supper Corner!
Supper Corner is the place for you to de-stress and have fun!

Why I call it Supper Corner?

Was thinking hard what I should name this blog.
Supper was the first name came across my mind.

About 4 months back, we had the best supper together, with few more great friends.

Satay with peanut sauce, fruit juices, teh tarik (pull tea – that was what we called it), roti tisu (tissue bread), a lot of laughter and of course, camera.

That was the greatest time we spent with each other, the craziest night we had till date.

“Children, we need to go now or else all the cars will turn into pumpkins!”
If it was not our Amma’s statement, we would probably keep talking and laughing till the next morning.

The most unbelievable thing was I had my review with my boss scheduled on the next day, morning!

Dear all my great friends, I will not forget the supper time we had together.

How this idea came in mind

Was talking to 2 good friends of mine that probably we should create a blog – a space where we can just write, talk, and share our days.

Since 3 us are living in 3 different places, hmm… 3 different countries actually, blogging in a common place appears to be not a bad choice to keep us connected.

None of us have experience with blogging – we are so out dated! Let’s start somewhere, buddies.
